- Account Credentials: When you log in via Firebase Authentication or Google Sign-In, we store your email address, display name, and unique user ID to maintain your secure session.
- Homework & Practice Content: When you upload a study guide photo or type sample math problems, those images and text snippets are processed to extract mathematical equations and generate practice problem remixes.
- Practice Performance: We store basic session counts and subtopic practice metrics to generate your progress stats.
2. How We Use and Process Your Data
We use your data exclusively to authenticate your account and power the Ashleigh AI Math Tutor experience:
- Uploaded worksheet images and handwriting strokes are processed in real-time by Google Cloud Vertex AI to perform OCR (Optical Character Recognition), transcribe KaTeX math formulas, and generate targeted problem variations.
- Enterprise Zero Data Retention (ZDR): Multimodal API calls operate under enterprise terms where student images, handwriting strokes, and problem text are NOT used to train or refine base AI models, and are never retained by third-party model providers.
- We do NOT sell your data, run targeted advertisements, or share student records with data brokers.
3. Student & Minor Privacy (COPPA & FERPA Compliance)
uncooked is touchscreen-first software designed for middle school, high school, and college students. For students under 13, accounts are provisioned and managed directly by parents or legal guardians via Household Family Plans, serving as Verifiable Parental Consent under COPPA. No unnecessary personally identifiable information is collected from student sub-profiles.
4. Cookies, Analytics & Your Rights
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor the basic health and performance of our website. This analytics service is completely cookie-less. It does not store cookies on your browser, nor does it fingerprint your IP address across the web.
